Return of the Living Dead III
Return of the Living Dead 3 (1993)
The Plot: A young man uses a top secret government formula to resurrect his dead girlfriend
Life is full of choices. Some are easy, and some are not, but all have consequences. Curt Reynolds was driving his motorcycle when he crashed, killing his girlfriend, Julie. It is at this point that Curt had to make some heavy decisions. He could've A) taken responsibility for his actions and reported the accident to the proper authorities, or B) used his father's stolen security badge to sneak into a military base and use a top secret formula to raise his girlfriend from the dead. He chose B. He had good intentions I am sure, but what he couldn't see would be the side effects which turned her into a brain eating zombie who turns to body mutilation and physical pain to mask her unquenchable thirst for human brains. Hey! It happens.

This movie also does not shine a good light on the military. First off, the security in the base is sloppy at best. They admit Curt's Colonel father into the base without an ID. They allow him to use another officer's badge to gain access to rooms. They fail to catch Curt when he arrives and uses his dad's ID. They allow him to return with his dead girlfriend on the back of his motorcycle. But the kicker is the military is working on a top secret formula that will reanimate the dead so they can use them as an ever growing army of the undead to fight their wars. This may seem far fetched, but I guarantee that if this technology is possible in real life, each nation of the world would be fighting wars with hordes of undead.
